A number of alumni from University of WidyaKartika Surabaya (UWIKA) incorporated in KAMI (Komunitas Anak Muda Peduli) held a social charity at SLB Purna Yudha Bakti at Jl. Semarang no. 36, Surabaya on Saturday, February 8, 2014. With the theme “Together in Harmony”, they entertained the inhabitants of the SLB with playing and singing together.
The social charity committee, TwanTjin said that this was a charity event. “During this event, we want to share with younger fellows who are in the SLB. In spite of their limitations, the SLB’s students can still show the spirit and ability such as singing, dancing and playing musical instruments,” he explained.
In this event, KAMI provided finance assistance of 18 million rupiah, as the result of donations from UWIKA and members of KAMI. “We give the cash to be used for the construction and renovation of SLB’s buildings because of the condition that needs help. We are ready to assist in any appropriate level of need.” TwanTjin closed. ***
